I have traveled around the world playing professionally for the Harlem Globetrotters and the Harlem Wizards. I have been lucky enough throughout my life to have been surrounded by great mentors that have challenged me to dig deep and strive to be the best that I can be. So I created a company called SwooperStars to continue on with that vision. I want to continue to teach kids through camps or 1 on 1 training to reach for their full potential through hard work not only on the basketball court but also in education, mentor ship and service. The goal is to help each one of us find that star inside, cultivate that star, and let that star shine.
The essence of what Dwayne “Swoop” Simpson has brought to the game of basketball has been rooted in his personality, his passion, and his ability to entertain people of all ages. Utilizing his sense of humor, he has been able to bridge generational and cultural gaps around the world.
